Senior official calls for boosting China-Argentina partnership
BEIJING -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) said Tuesday the CPC is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with the Republican Proposal party of Argentina to push forward the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
Du Qinglin, a member of the secretariat of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, made the remarks when meeting with Francisco Javier Quintana, secretary-general of the national council of the Argentine party.
Quintana spoke highly of the two-day Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, which concluded Monday in Beijing, expressing the hope that the two parties will increase exchanges, share governance experience, and help bilateral ties develop more comprehensively.
