United States:
The first Sunday after Labor Day (which is the first Monday in September) was set as National Grandparents Day in 1978, when Jimmy Carter was president. On this day, many communities in the US will hold various activities for the elderly. As Americans love traveling, many seniors also will plan a trip together.
