President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message Wednesday for the opening of the Fortune Global Forum in Guangzhou.
The forum is scheduled from Wednesday to Friday, and Vice-Premier Wang Yang attended the opening ceremony of the forum.
The theme of this year's forum is "Openness and Innovation: Shaping the Global Economy". As of the end of November, over 700 guests have registered, and the number of participants has totaled 1,000.
