Taobao tops the Hurun Most Valuable Chinese Brands 2017 list, according to the annual brand ranking released by Hurun Research Institute on Dec 5.
The online marketplace run by e-commerce giant Alibaba Group retains its crown with a brand value of 450 billion yuan ($68 billion).
Tencent follows with a brand value of 350 billion yuan.
