Intl ice sculpture contest underway in Harbin

An international ice sculpture competition kicked off on Sunday at Harbin Ice and Snow World in Northeast China's Heilongjiang province. The competition, attracting 14 teams from China, the US, Spain, Russia, Mexico and Mongolia, will end on Thursday. Unlike other competitions, competitors work on 12 blocks of ice to present their ideas, which call for higher standards for the sculptors' skills.
