A Bite of China went viral in its first season in 2014, so it returned for seasons 2 and 3. There are also books, movies and phone games based on the documentary, helping it become a classical IP in the documentary field. Its season 3 will be aired during Spring Festival in February, with eight episodes altogether and 50 minutes in length.
