China, sticking to its own path, will neither import other countries' models nor export the Chinese model, Zhang Yesui, spokesman for the first session of the 13th National People's Congress, said on Sunday's news conference.

Zhang made the remarks in response to the notion that China wants to change the existing international order by exporting China's model.

The 19th Communist Party of China National Congress pointed out that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era, and in this new era, China's diplomacy with Chinese features aims to foster a new type of international relations and build a community of shared future for mankind, he said.

"What China pursues is a peaceful development, and also an opening-up strategy for win-win outcome," the spokesman said, adding that China's development helps world peace, stability and prosperity, and that China, with its development, has created many opportunities for the world.

"We don't think there is a one-size-fits-all development model. All countries need to independently find a path tailored to their own reality," Zhang said.

"We don't want to import models from other countries, and we don't want to export the Chinese model either. And we will not ask other countries to copy the Chinese practice," Zhang said.
