4th Kempinski Vienna Ball was held in Beijing
The quadrille is the most eye-catching part of every Vienna Ball. The Kempinski Vienna Ball follows this tradition, and the evening began with a dance of debutantes and their escorts. All the debutantes' beautiful ball gowns were created by the official outfitter of the ball — Tanya Couture, founded by Chinese designer Tanya Wang.
The Original Wiener Strauss Capelle, one of Vienna's most renowned orchestras, has made a name for itself both at home and abroad with its promise to be both surprising and moving, and it performed a variety of beautiful Viennese melodies and waltzes and polkas throughout the event.
Later on, at the stroke of midnight, the traditional quadrille was performed under the instruction and watchful eye of the celebrated dance instructor and former state opera solo dancer Heinz Heidenreich.
An annual charity raffles program, which is supported by Kempinski Hotel Beijing to provide assistance to disadvantaged rural youths with education and training, was held at the event. This year, Kempinski Vienna Ball Beijing raised a total of 40, 800 yuan. All proceeds are being donated to Sunvillage.
