Japan ties set to improve despite twists and turns
Right condition for deeper cooperation
The active cooperation of many major countries with the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative, and the in-depth communication on and sharing of governance ideas and practices at the high-level dialogue between the Communist Party of China and other countries' political parties in Beijing last year have created the right atmosphere for China and Japan to improve bilateral ties and strengthen cooperation.
Japan has used its geographical proximity to China to boost its economic development over the 40 years of China's reform and opening-up. It can now take the "fast-driving Chinese train" to realize common development and prosperity with China.
The wishes expressed by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and other top Japanese officials in recent months to improve ties with China have created the right condition for deeper cooperation between two countries.
