China's first production line for arbitrarily stretched display screens
On Thursday, Chinese high-tech company Visionox launched its first display screen production line for sixth generation AMOLED display technology, which is also the first such production line in China.
The sixth generation of AMOLED display technology can produce folding screens, scrolling screens and even arbitrarily stretched screens, which will be applied to end products in coming days.
The production line based in Gu'an's new industry city in North China's Hebei province is designed to produce 30,000 pieces of display screens per month and the production capacity can meet the manufacturing demands for almost 100 million smart devices.
According to Zhang Deqiang, president of Visionox, the company is the one of the first domestic companies to develop OLED technology with more than 3,500 OLED patents and it has produced the world’s first arbitrarily stretched screen.
"The AMOLED production line is one of the remarkable achievements of China Fortune Land Development (CFLD) Co Ltd's 'industry prioritized' strategy," Zhang said.
Shanghai-listed CFLD is a Chinese new industrial city developer making efforts to bring high-tech and innovative companies to new industrial cities such as Gu’an.
Zhao Wei, CFLD's executive president, said that bringing Visionox to Gu'an can add momentum to the high-quality development of the city’s industrial cluster of high-tech display screen producers.
"At present, there are a number of high-tech display screen producers in Gu’an’s new industrial city, like Visionox and BOE Technology, which initially forms an industrial cluster," Zhao added.
