The Empire State Building is an American cultural icon and has been featured in more than 250 TV shows and movies. In the comedy-drama Sleepless in Seattle, Annie (played by Meg Ryan) writes a letter to Sam (Tom Hanks) suggesting meeting on top of the Empire State Building on Valentine's Day. After twists and turns, they finally see each other on the observation deck on top of the building.
