Yang Xuebang's works displays beauty of Chinese, European porcelain art

An ongoing exhibition at the Palace Museum, titled Brilliant Craft, by Yang Xuebang showcase 15 ceramic objects and 68 paintings on porcelain.
It is being held at the Hall of Martial Valor (Wuying Dian) through Oct 5.
The highlights include a vase which combines the use of cobalt-blue qinghua pigment and miaojin and painting with gold; and its shape resembles zun a ritual bronze vessel.
Another eye-catching piece is Auspicious Snow and 10,000 Li of Landscape, a 6.68-meter-long landscape on porcelain which depicts a panoramic view of snowy mountains.
