Large retailers reach collaboration deal with CIIE exhibitors

A score of large retailers from both home and abroad have jointly reached an agreement with exhibitors from 15 countries around the world at the inaugural China International Import Expo on running 29 collaboration projects, as announced by the Large Retail Purchaser Alliance on Thursday.
Established in June in Shanghai, the alliance consists of 21 retailers including domestic giant Bailian Group and French supermarket chain Carrefour.
Altogether, they are to purchase a variety of products believed to improve the lives of Chinese consumers, from the likes of cosmetics company L'Oreal to diary brand Fonterra.
