New culinary experiences unveiled at Ritz-Carlton Shanghai
This fall, The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai, Pudong was named the No 1 hotel in China as well as the 12th Best Hotel in the world by Conde Nast Traveler's 31st annual Reader's Choice Award.
To celebrate this achievement, the hotel has invited two illustrious guest chefs, Emmanuel Renaut and Marco Sacco, to curate a culinary experience for guests that takes them on a journey through French and Italian cuisine.
Called the Michelin Star Explore Journey, this experience starts at the hotel's Aura Lounge & Jazz Bar with French cuisine (Nov 20 to 23) by Renaut whose approach is centered on using ingredients in their most natural form.
Renaut is best-known for being the founder of the highly acclaimed, three-Michelin-starred Flocons Sel in Megeve, France, which uses local ingredients to create culinary masterpieces.
The Michelin Star Explore Journey then embarks on the Italian phase (Dec 5 to 8) at the hotel's Scena Italian Restaurant where Sacco uses organic ingredients to bring to diners the taste of his home.
