Saudi king announces cabinet reshuffle

RIYADH - Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud announced on Thursday a cabinet reshuffle, Saudi Press Agency reported.
Ibrahim al-Assaf was appointed as the minister of foreign affairs, while the former minister Adel Al-Jubeir was appointed as the state minister for foreign affairs.
The new members in the cabinet also included the ministry of national guard, information ministry and education ministry.
The king also issued a number of royal orders, including the formation of National Space Authority and the General Authority for Exhibitions and Conferences.
He ordered the restructuring of the Political and Security Affairs Council and the Economic Affairs and Development Council.
