The play employs the blank-leaving method commonly seen in traditional Chinese paintings. With a revolving stage and lighting, the play highlights the sensitivities of each character and creates a dreamy, nostalgic ambience for the audience.

This stage production remains faithful to the original film production. It features most of the classic dialogues, the story’s comic effects and music adapted from the original soundtrack.
