During Chinese New Year, Zhangzhou will stage nearly 50 art performances, folklore activities and tourism promotions. It will also perform a musical sitcom that aims to introduce audiences to the diverse sides of the city

Located at the southernmost tip of Fujian province, Zhangzhou faces the southern part of Taiwan across the sea. It is an important city of the Belt and Road Initiative, and also a major hometown for overseas Chinese and many Taiwan people.

Zhangzhou is home to a unique southern Fujian culture. The city has mountains and seas and remains warm like spring year-round. It's also known for its flowers, fruits and hot springs, making the place an excellent winter tourist destination.
