Technology breakthrough

At the 2019 press conference, one of the highlights was the introduction of the "Yaoguo AI" mutual learning product.

"With the help of state-of-the-art technologies like AI and H5, our team can promote teacher-student communication, enliven the classroom atmosphere and improve learning efficiency," said Dai Yun, academic vice president of 51Talk.

Dai also said with the help of big data the team can analyze students' classroom behavior, learning effects and language skills, and making learning more individualized and effective.

According to Dai, 51Talk intends to create a "fun and fruitful" curriculum system, which can help students learn willingly and put what they have learned into daily use.

"'Fun' refers to letting students experience the fun of learning, creating interest in learning and building self-confidence so students can continuously harvest learning results, and the overlapping of the two words is to ensure the progress of students can be made to the greatest extent."
