Experts from UNESCO see intangible cultural heritage show in Hebei
The International Training Center for Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Asia-Pacific Region under the auspices of UNESCO (hereinafter referred to as "CRIHAP") held the eighth session of the Governing Board of CRIHAP in Beijing on March 26.
As part of the meeting, the participants went to Fengning Manchu autonomous county, Chengde, Hebei province, to carry out ICH investigation activities, and inspected cloth paste paintings, straw paintings, tree-root carvings, palace lanterns and other ICH products.
CRIHAP is an international institution in the field of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) established in Beijing, and is committed to conducting international training activities in the field of ICH. Since its establishment in 2012, CRIHAP has held 35 training courses in 16 countries in the Asia-Pacific region, benefiting 32 countries and making positive contributions to the cause of ICH conservation in the Asia-Pacific region.
