Italian legwear brand Calzedonia opens two more stores in Beijing
Italian legwear brand Calzedonia has opened two more stores in downtown Beijing, expanding its business in the Chinese capital. Another two outlets are expected to open in the capital in April and May.
Calzedonia is a brand under the Calzedonia Group, which also owns Intimissimi, Tezenis, Falconeri, Signorvino, Atelier Emè and Intimissimi Uomo.
The Italian fashion retailer is taking big strides in China since it first entered the Chinese market in 2017. Calzedonia Group has so far opened more than 20 retail stores in Chinese cities, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou and Chengdu. It's aimed at owning more than 100 shops in the Chinese mainland by 2020, according to company management.
Founded in 1986, Calzedonia specializes in socks, leggings, tights and beachwear. Its collections are sold in more than 4,500 stores in over 50 countries and regions around the world.
