After the fire at Notre Dame cathedral in April, tests showed high levels of lead pollution in the surrounding area.
On Tuesday, Paris officials sealed off the area around Notre Dame with metal fences in preparation for a lead decontamination operation.
Not only are they decontaminating the cathedral, but also the streets and schools in the surrounding area.
