What's happening in the world next week
The 5th Eastern Economic Forum will be held in Russia; the Amazon Summit will be held in Columbia; and State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Fifth Eastern Economic Forum to be held in Russia
At the invitation of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Yury Trutnev, Chinese Vice Premier Hu Chunhua will attend the fifth Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia from Sept 4 to 6.
The main event of the forum – the plenary session– will take place on Sept 5. Along with Russian President Vladimir Putin, it will be attended by the Indian prime minister, Japanese prime minister, Malaysian prime minister as well as the Mongolian president.
Hu will co-chair a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission for Cooperation of the Northeast China and the Far East and Baikal Region of Russia with Trutnev, who is also the presidential envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia.
The Eastern Economic Forum is held annually with the objective of facilitating the accelerated development of the Russian Far East's economy and expanding international cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region.
