President of Kazakhstan to pay state visit to China
Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to China from Sept 10 to 12 at the invitation of President Xi Jinping, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying announced.
The two heads of state will sign and issue important political documents, which will make a comprehensive summary of and chart the course for China-Kazakhstan relations, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang said.
Relevant departments of the two countries will also sign a series of important cooperation documents and hold supporting activities on economy, trade and culture.
President Xi met with his Kazakh counterpart in Bishkek, Kazakhstan, in June. They pledged to promote cooperation to benefit the peoples of the two countries and the region.
