Yanqi Lake Entrepreneur Forum concludes in Beijing

The three-day 2018 Yanqi Lake Entrepreneur Forum concluded at 12 pm on Oct 31 with Bai Lixin, founder of the ZS Institute, making the closing remarks.

"The opening bell of the 2018 Yanqi Lake Entrepreneur Forum is still ringing in our minds even as the drum rolls calling you back to the frontline of business are already beating. While you are making unremitting efforts in your respective positions to realize the Chinese dream, all volunteers of the ZS Institute are standing by your side and are ready to be your staircase and bridge to success, without any hesitation or apprehension," Bai said in his speech.

Themed A Great Era of Cultural Confidence, A Bright Future of National Rejuvenation, the forum this year featured three parts – Great Era, Strategy Innovation, and Bright Future – and highlighted the contemporary China better than last year’s session. which was themed Cultural Confidence and National Rejuvenation.

More than 20 domestic and foreign guests from the business and academic worlds delivered speeches and shared their insights on the positive impact Chinese culture is having on contemporary business practices and globalization. Participants in the forum included 1,000 presidents of listed companies, industry players, and 1,000 special invitees.

Liu Donghua, director of the ZS Institute and founder of Z.H.Island, delivered the opening speech Oct 29, themed Great Era. Bai Lixin then released a 25,000-character report of the forum titled A Great Era of Cultural Confidence, A Bright Future of National Rejuvenation. Amid current global turbulence and volatility, the report draws on the profound insight of Chinese culture to present the context behind the challenges facing entrepreneurs and offers solutions to see the bigger picture.

Entrepreneurs from Hualian Machinery of Zhejiang province, Conba, and VIVN Solar Technology, stepped onstage and shared how their lives and companies changed after they attended workshops on Chinese culture.
