Bali offers royal service for newlyweds
The picturesque Bali Island, Indonesia, has been a favorable overseas destination for Chinese newlyweds, including celebrities, to enjoy their romantic honeymoon or a private wedding ceremony with close relatives.
The Bali Tourism Board recently held an event in Beijing, with the theme of promoting itself as a destination for honeymoons and weddings. The local tour operators and wedding services companies also attended the event to communicate with their counterparts in China to extend cooperation.
The tourism board unveiled a new product – the Royal Wedding in Bali, which allows the newlyweds to experience an indelible marriage ceremony combined with Bali Royal tradition, Chinese wedding custom and Western romantic wedding.
They will wear the local wedding costumes combined with modern aesthetics during the ceremony at the royal palace, East Bali. It's specially arranged with Chinese tradition – the newlywed would serve each other's parents with tea to thank for their upbringing. They will have a romantic Western wedding ceremony after that.
