World CEOs optimistic about China's economic outlook
Jeremy Hunter, President of Henkel Greater China
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 in China, Henkel has been keeping a close eye on the situation and is actively participating in efforts to prevent and contain the spread of the virus. In accordance with the guidance of the government, we have implemented stringent measures in all Henkel offices and sites across China to help protect against the virus, including increasing frequency of disinfection in offices and facilities, air ventilation adjustments, health screenings before entry and providing colleagues with personal protection masks for commuting to work, just to name a few.
So far, all our manufacturing facilities in China are all in operation, and we are providing guidance to support employees who will continue to work from home.
With related policies issued by the central and local governments to minimize impact and energize the market, we believe the Chinese economy will return to steady growth after the outbreak of COVID-19 is brought under control.
