Newborn baby, parents reunite after quarantine
Then the father, as a close contact, also lived in a quarantine facility in the community. The family of three was separated in three different places in the city.
On March 16, Li recovered and was discharged from the hospital but she had to experience another 14 days of isolation before she could return home. Considering Li had just given birth and needed good care, she was allowed to live with her husband in the community's quarantine facility.
Thankfully, both of the parents stayed healthy after the 14-day isolation. On March 30, they returned home after nearly a month of leaving. And what made them the happiest is that they could finally take their baby daughter home.
They cleaned the house, took showers, changed clothes and also prepared clothing and a baby carriage to welcome their "little penguin" home.
