Short video to help youths navigate social situations
A short video program which gathers celebrities and ordinary people to discuss how to deal with nuisances they face in daily life has been airing on Tencent's video platform since April 23.
The program, titled Hello Tongdaodashu, is produced by Tongdaodashu, a Chinese brand renowned for its cultural and creative products related to the 12 zodiac signs.
A mysterious man, familiar with the personality types of different zodiac symbols, will represent the brand to co-host the show with anchor Da Zuo, to create a humorous atmosphere and give suggestions to the guests.
The hosts, together with pop idol Wang Ju, singer Hu Haixuan, actress Chen Xiaoyu and other celebrities, will show up in the pop-up studios in the central business districts of several big cities, randomly opening the door to passersby. This way, some common folks can join in to share the things troubling them.
Big data technology will be used to find topics young generations are most concerned about for the guests to dig into.
The show aims to give young people sincere and practical suggestions to help them better understand each other in social situations and hold a positive attitude towards life.
