Business leaders make suggestions for this year's two sessions
Lei Jun, NPC deputy and Xiaomi founder and CEO, made four proposals this year relating to the satellite internet industry development, building of a disaster warning system, improving financing services for small and micro businesses, and introduction of high-level international talents.
Lei proposed incorporating the satellite internet as a key strategic emerging industry into China's 14th Five-Year development plan, and accelerating using smart terminals such as smartphones and TVs to build up public service systems such as disaster warnings.
To improve financing services for small and micro businesses, Lei proposed the strengthening of fintech and big data applications to reduce service costs and develop angel investment, venture capital, equity financing, supply chain finance and other financing methods, so as to form a sufficient and diversified fund supply system.
To attract more high-level international talent, Li proposed improving public services and living environments in areas including children's education, the cultural atmosphere, and the convenience of entry and exit for the country.
