China's top theaters for children are joining hands to present various children's plays on several television and internet platforms ahead of the International Children's Day, which falls on June 1.

The theaters, including China National Theater for Children, Children's Art Theater of China Welfare Institute and Xi'an Children's Art Theater, will showcase famous Chinese children's plays such as "The Magic Boat," "Ne Zha Stirs Up the Sea" and "We Are the Terracotta Warriors."

The show will be aired at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday on the kids' channel of the state broadcaster CCTV, Douyin APP, the Chinese version of Tiktok, v.qq.com, youku.com and others.

During the event, the characters from the plays will also become tour guides introducing local tourist attractions and snacks in their cities to the young audience.
