In 2010, former president Hu Jintao received then-DPRK leader Kim Jong-il in Changchun, and sent a work by Li to Kim as a gift. Over the years, she has been invited to exhibit her works in many countries, including Russia, Japan, France and Germany, and at exhibitions she always demonstrates her cutting skills, which are of great interest to foreigners.
