A series of virtual theme exhibitions on Chinese traditional and contemporary art were recently launched by the China Cultural Center in Sydney.

Lasting until late September, the exhibitions will display Peking Opera, ink and watercolor artworks from young artists as well as photos of the Palace Museum.

Excerpts from five classic operas will be showed in the exhibition. The 34 paintings by 11 artists from home and abroad are all about the four seasons and colors. There will be a special show of 14 young artists from Jiangsu province.

The center expected the exhibitions could bring comfort and joy to locals.
