The East Lake International Ecological Sculpture Biennale, founded in 2017 and held in Hubei province's Wuhan, bills itself as the first sculpture show focused on environmental sustainability.
The event's second edition, which will be postponed until March 2021, will continue to reflect upon ecological issues by showing works that discuss the role of new technology in making the world more sustainable.
The organizing committee has invited artists from home and abroad to submit works. Environmentally friendly materials are encouraged.
The upcoming show will be themed "100 percent", reflecting the idea that ecological concerns should permeate every facet of people's lives.
