Shock Wave 2

Currently, hardly any film is making a bigger splash across Chinese cinemas than the action film Shock Wave 2.

A loose sequel to the 2017 eponymous film, Shock Wave 2 stars legendary Hong Kong actor-singer Andy Lau and actress Ni Ni.

In the 2020 production, bomb disposal officer Poon Shing-fung, played by Lau, lost one leg after a bomb unexpectedly went off during a police operation to disarm it. After waking up from a coma, Poon cannot remember his identity and his past due to post-traumatic amnesia. Worse still, he is suspected by the police of being involved in several bombing attacks but meanwhile, he learns of the terrorist organization's schemes of destroying Hong Kong landmarks.

What will Poon, a key person between the police and the terrorist organization, choose to do? Find out the answer yourself in the cinema!
