Last month, the award ceremony for the Prix Versailles, the world architecture award that aims to promote better interaction between culture and the economy, was held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France.
Among the award's 24 winners from varied categories including airports, campuses, sports venues, shops and restaurants, two projects are from China. One is the Beijing Daxing International Airport and the other a Casa Talia restaurant in Parkview Green Shopping Mall in Chaoyang district.
The restaurant, featuring skeleton-like framework, white spiral stairs and a structure of perfect symmetry, creates an artistic atmosphere for customers to enjoy the Mediterranean cuisine it provides.
