Up to 1,000 Shanghai teenagers gathered on Tuesday at the site where the first CPC National Congress was held in Shanghai in 1921 to commemorate the history of the Communist Party of China on the May 4th Youth Day.
The gathering started with a short lecture on the history of the Communist Party of China on the early morning of the Youth Day.
Afterwards, the themed relay activity began at the location of the first CPC National Congress, following four routes, which represented the four phases the Communist Party of China went through in 100 years, with the final destination at the Yangpu Riverfront.
