A TV program themed on the history of the Communist Party of China called Daring to Make Sun and Moon Shine in New Skies was launched in Beijing on Thursday.

Produced by the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, National Development and Reform Commission and China Media Group, the 24-episode show elaborates on the struggling history of the CPC in the past century.

According to Shen Haixiong, head of China Media Group, "The production vividly illustrates that our Party has insisted on doing everything for people, relying on people, putting people in the highest position of its heart, and making people's aspiration for a better life its goal of struggle for the past 100 years."

The program will be aired on CCTV 1 from Sunday. It will also be translated into 44 languages and promoted overseas.
