Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web (WWW) and considered the co-founder of the internet, has auctioned the source code of the web as a nonfungible token (NFT). As of June 28, the auction price had jumped from $1,000 to $2.8 million through 44 bids.
