500 drones in Tianjin skies celebrate CPC founding
A dazzling drone show to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was held on Wednesday evening in Yangliuqing Ancient Town in Tianjin's Xiqing district.
The eye-candy comprised 500 drones, which formed 21 pictures and sentences in Chinese in the sky to show the 100-year journey of the CPC.
The pictures included the Party's emblem, its scientific achievements and its efforts to build a moderately prosperous society and alleviate poverty.?
Slogans including "I love Tianjin" and "I love Xiqing" were also shown in the sky during the show for residents and visitors.
Yangliuqing Ancient Town is a landmark area of the city, covering an area of 8,000 square meters. It has well-preserved courtyards of renowned local celebrities and some ancient pavilions. Some new shops and theaters were set up in a style reflecting an ancient flavor.
