Travel agencies offer free refunds, rebooking for Henan tours
Travel agencies are offering free ticket refunds and rebooking services to users whose tours have been affected by torrential rains in Zhengzhou, Central China's Henan province.
Trip.com Group, an online travel services provider, announced on Wednesday that users set to travel to and stay in Zhengzhou on Tuesday and Wednesday can cancel or terminate their orders free of charge.
Tuniu and Lvmama, another two online travel agencies, said on Wednesday that their users can change or cancel tours to Zhengzhou for free till Thursday due to the heavy rain in the city.
These travel agencies said that they will absorb any potential losses related to ticket and tour package refunds. They also suggest travelers not visit areas hit by heavy rains and contact their customer service center or local police when facing an emergency.
