Residents also are busy cleaning up water which has flooded their buildings.

Efforts are being made to fix the water and power supplies.

Wang said water under a flyover near his community rose to nearly the height of an average person at around 7 pm last night. He saved four drowning girls from the water, with the help of three other passersby.
