A1 In 2022, China will continue to be an engine driving global recovery, and technology innovation will certainly play a critical role, accelerating the development and spread of China's digital economy and providing significant opportunities for technology companies such as Microsoft to contribute.

For this year's two sessions, we are particularly interested in China's integration of domestic and international trade, which aligns well with Microsoft's strategic aims to assist more domestic enterprises to extend business overseas and for foreign enterprises to extend their businesses in China.

A2 First, we will continue to invest in fostering local innovation and exporting "China inventions" to the rest of the world. Second, we will use leading digital technology, solutions and expertise to help transform a number of key industry sectors-through our own cloud-based solutions, consulting and engineering teams as well as a vast network of Chinese partners. Third, we will continue to train, develop and help grow the professional and technical skills and careers of people in China to help build the future-ready talent base for China's long-term economic and social success. Finally, we will actively participate in China's initiatives on biodiversity conservation and carbon reduction.

A3 The new challenges and innovative solutions that Chinese companies and innovators continuously present require agility and the capability to learn and grow every day. We are also continuing to ramp up our engagement with local companies to explore new avenues, strategies and resources to help them succeed in their overseas business growth, while continuing to work with foreign companies to develop in China. In both these scenarios, we aim to serve as a bridge to connect local innovators with global companies and partners to discover new business opportunities and values, all aligned with green development and China's carbon-neutrality goals.

A4 China is actively promoting top-to-bottom innovation in both traditional and emerging industries. Joint innovation between Microsoft, customers and our many local partners-including startups and companies emerging from incubators across the country that we support-are helping to build a win-win environment that drives the use and growth of Microsoft technologies to empower success for customers.

A5 China is an integral part of Microsoft's global business and remains an important market for Microsoft. Our commitment to the China market remains long-term and consistent. In addition, expanding the scale of our operations in China, Microsoft will offer a number of new technologies, products and services in China in the near future to meet customer demand.
