China's foreign trade sees growth in first 2 months

China's trade with the European Union, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and the United States reached 874.64 billion yuan ($138.33 billion), 870.47 billion yuan and 785.92 billion yuan, respectively, during the first two months, data from the General Administration of Customs showed on Monday.
The year-on-year growth rates of China's trade values with the partners were 12.4 percent, 10.5 percent and 9.7 percent, respectively.
Moreover, its trade with economies along the Belt and Road hit 1.92 trillion yuan during the period, surging 18.3 percent from a year ago. The growth rate was 5 percentage points higher than the nation's total foreign trade growth, which stood at 13.3 percent.
