BEIJING -- Chinese astronauts gave a livestreamed popular-science lecture, the second class from China's space station, to students on Earth Wednesday afternoon.

The Shenzhou-XIII crew members Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu conducted diverse scientific experiments in zero-gravity environment and introduced the space science facilities during the lecture.

They also have real-time Q&A with the students via video call, according to the China Manned Space Agency.

The primary ground classroom is at the China Science and Technology Museum. Classrooms are also set up in Lhasa of Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, Urumqi of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

The three astronauts went into space onboard the Shenzhou-XIII spaceship and entered the country's space station on Oct 16, embarking on the country's longest-ever crewed mission for space station construction.

On Dec 9, 2021, the trio delivered the first live lecture at China's space station, showing the students their living and working areas at the Tianhe core module and several scientific experiments under zero-gravity conditions.
