Sun's online exam was scheduled for April 1. He needed a quiet space and unimpeded network.

"They emptied out a medical treatment room for me to use as an exam room," he said. "Technical personnel built a special network connection to ensure I'd have a smooth online experience."

The day after the exam, Sun tested negative and was transported home for quarantine.

"When I got the good news about Wuhan University, the first thing I wanted to do was call the medical workers who helped me," he said. "The special exam will be the most unforgettable memory of my life."
