Bustling Ningbo-Zhoushan Port on the rise
Mist shrouds the Chuanshan Port area of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port in Zhejiang province, creating a spectacular night view, as ships, containers and cranes shine through the fog.
April's combined sea-rail transportation volume at the Chuanshan Port station of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port Railway exceeded 50,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), reaching 51,600 TEUs for the first time after a year-on-year increase of 133 percent. It was the highest single month since the Chuanshan station opened.
More efforts will be made in digital reform and smart port construction projects at Ningbo-Zhoushan Port to stabilize the operation of sea-rail intermodal trains, promote high-quality development of the sea-rail intermodal transportation business and keep logistical supply chains secure and smooth.
