Seventy-four bars in the Sanlitun area of Chaoyang district, Beijing have been temporarily closed due to the recent COVID-19 infection cluster linked to a bar.

Additionally, 52 cultural and sports training institutions, 12 chess and poker rooms, 11 foot massage parlors, 67 cultural and entertainment facilities, 123 unessential stores, and more than 230 beauty salons have also been temporarily closed.

More than 700 restaurants and catering services have stopped offering indoor dining but remain open for takeout orders.

Under strict epidemic prevention and control measures, supermarkets and convenient stores with no reported cases of COVID-19 infection or close contacts, as well as essential businesses, will remain open to fulfill daily needs of the locals.
