Cultural festival turns old warehouse into commercial hub

At the opening ceremony of the 11th Langyuan International Creative and Cultural Festival on Sept 16, Beijingers have felt the vitality of the Langyuan Station, an incubator for new consumer brands. The "Time Tunnel", second project of the Langyuan Station Central Station, was unveiled at the ceremony. With a total length of 250 meters, the Tunnel possesses 7,000 square meters of open interior space and 20,000 square meters of cultural and commercial space.
Renovated by the renowned Spanish architectural firm Estudio Cano Lasso S. L., the former textile warehouse has been transformed into an urban cultural space, integrating theater, runways, showrooms, a large conference venue and cultural business.
