Rug restaurant launches new menu
Aiming to bring food and drinks from around the world to the Chinese capital, the Rug restaurant chain has launched a brand-new menu in Beijing.
The crisp Nordic avocado Danish bread eggs benedict is a new member of the restaurant's popular eggs Benedict family. Topping crispy homemade Danish rolls with sauteed mushroom and avocado basil mash, coated in a hollandaise made with egg yolk, cream, lemon juice, salt and black pepper, one bite of the dish invites a symphony of flavor.
Both the roasted fresh whole lobster with garlic herb butter fettuccine and ham and egg scrambled shallot bacon Danish bread are worth trying.
As for dessert, the maritozzo vanilla bun is one highlight, and has limited quantities daily. The handmade maritozzo bun stuffed with vanilla milk cream takes diners on a trip to ancient Rome.
