On Wednesday, 275,000 passengers passed through the Shenzhen station, the most in a single day since the travel rush began and an increase of 25 percent over 2019, according to the railway.
Special entrances for key passengers are provided at the Shenzhen station, with special rest areas also being offered for pregnant women, the elderly, children and people with nursing needs in the waiting hall, Luo said.
Tickets were selling 24 hours a day at the Shenzhen station to facilitate the travel of passengers at night.
